ETHIOPIAN AIRLINE UNABLE TO LAND IN ENUGU MAKES A U TURN BACK TO ETHIOPIA

An Ethiopian international flight was scheduled to land at Akunu Ibiam International airport Enugu at 3pm on Sunday but was unable to land due to bad weather and made a U-turn back to Ethiopia.

The bad weather was due to the harmattan season which was at a high rate yesterday and the crew of the flight didn't find it safe to land in Enugu so they had to make a quick U-turn back.

The passengers who were present in the flight were reported to have protested for not have gotten to their destination but the airline made them understand that the destination was not convenient for landing and that their safety and lives come first. The airline later checked all the passengers into a hotel in Ethiopia as they wait for another flight and a suitable weather.
